  • Committees
  • The success of the ISACA® Las Vegas Chapter is dependent upon the active participation of Chapter members on Chapter Committees. The Chapter Committees are the life force behind all Chapter initiatives, events and activities.
  • Below is a description of each Committee.

  • Executive Committee
  • This committee is composed of the Chapter President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. This committee has the power to act for the Board between Board meetings. Such delegated power is subject to the ratification of the actions of the Executive Committee at the next Board Meeting and is also subject to any limitation the Board may from time to time impose on this committee.
  • Membership Committee
  • This committee is responsible for promoting membership in the Association and for maintaining Chapter membership records.
  • Education Committee
  • This committee is responsible for planning and directing all educational offerings including monthly meetings, seminars, and presentations.
  • CISA™ and CISM™ Certification Committee
  • This committee is responsible for developing and coordinating the Chapter's semi-annual CISA™ Review Course. This committee also coordinates an annual CISA™ and CISM™  Recognition Event established to honor Chapter members who pass the CISA™ and CISM™ Examinations
  • Nominating Committee
  • This committee is appointed by the Chapter President, subject to the approval of the Board. This committee is composed of three Chapter members and is responsible for nominating candidates for election to Chapter officer and director positions. 
     This committee meets on an annual basis.
  • Audit Committee
  • This committee is appointed by the Chapter President, subject to the approval of the Board.  This committee is composed of two Chapter members in good standing who do not have check signing authority or any other conflict of interest. The committee completes an annual audit of the Chapter records and reports the audit findings to the Board.
  • Bylaws Committee
  • This committee is responsible for updating and maintaining the Chapter bylaws
  • Election Committee
  • This committee is appointed by the Chapter President, subject to the approval of the Board. This committee is composed of two Chapter members and is responsible for: mailing election ballots to Chapter members, receiving and tabulating results of returned ballots, and submitting a written report of the election results to the Board This committee meets on an annual basis.
  • Help To Shape The Future of the Las Vegas Chapter!
  • Volunteer for a Committee.
  • The Chapter can always use another volunteer to help us shape our future. Please volunteer your time and participate on at least one of the Chapter Committees. The Chapter always welcomes and benefits from the talent and experiences of our volunteer members. Time commitments are very reasonable and are dependent upon the committee. Generally, committees meet once per month (meetings may occur via conference call).
